Complete Southern Supper #2

Garlic Butter Baked Pork Chops with Cheesy Broccoli & Buttered Mushrooms

Southern comfort food made for real life with diabetes.

One of the hardest parts about changing the way we eat isn't giving up dessert. It's standing in the kitchen wondering, "What makes this meal feel complete?"

For years our supper plates always had a meat, a vegetable, and something like mashed potatoes, rice, macaroni and cheese, biscuits, or cornbread. When those starches disappear, supper can suddenly feel unfinished.

That's exactly why I started creating these Complete Southern Suppers. Instead of giving you one recipe and leaving you wondering what goes beside it, I'm putting together an entire meal that's comforting, filling, and made with everyday ingredients you can find at Walmart.

"A Southern supper shouldn't feel like you're missing something. It should feel like home."
